• Custom Designs are created with a customer by email or messenger to meet your needs,  I will include you and your valued input every step of the design process to make sure you get a truly unique piece.  I prefer the custom design business because in the end every customer is truly saisfied knowing they created a piece that is uniwue to them.  Anyone can make cookie cutter designs and wash, rinse and repeat...  Our designs are your desings and thats something truly special and not something you can buy in stores. 

 

Sourcing

• All Hardwood Lumber is hand selected to find the highest quality.  Materials are sourced from nearby forests from the upstate NY Adirondacks region. 

We support local small business local loggers, saw mills, kilns and truckers

 

Process

• Most designs are laser etched on kiln dried Cherry for it's natural beauty and hardiness in outdoor environments.  Maple and pine are also on hand and special requests may be entertained to work with a customers wood. 

• Rough sawn lumber is cut to order, planed and edge profiled then sanded with multiple abrasives to perfection

• Blanks are then laser engraved with the chosen design, the profile edges are hand sanded and both front and back are finish sanded to perfection

• Finished Design is then sealed with a beautiful transparent penetrating oil (made in the USA) to bring out the natural grain and color in the wood. Based on your application (Indoor/Outdoor)
